You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together, breaking up any lumps. Pour batter onto a hot griddle. Flip pancakes when the edges appear cooked and the batter bubbles on top. Serve immediately.

    This recipe made the fluffiest pancakes I've come across. Since the first time I made them I reduced the baking powder to 1 teaspoon so they aren't so bubbly and sometimes I use buttermilk if I have it. Still not my Dad's Sweetmilk Griddlecakes (that recipe died with him, but my family loves them!
