Ingredients

  • 2 (10-ounce) bags olive oil potato chips (or good quality chips)
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

Place chips on an oven tray and bake for about 5 minutes until they are hot and they begin to release their oil.

While chips are in the oven mix together the paprika, garlic powder, sugar and salt.

When the chips are hot, sprinkle the spice mixture over them and carefully toss to season all of the chips. (Be careful of the hot tray.)

Serve warm or at room temperature.

I love knowing exactly what's going on my chips, rather than eating the premade bbq chips that have who knows what chemicals sprinkled on them,

These were delicious and the nice thing is, I know which spices went into them. Buy a quality plain bag of chips that just has oil and salt and add this recipe to them. People, did you watch the show, he said that he was flavoring the chips because he did not like all of that artificial stuff that goes onto flavored chips.

Talk about calling it in. Buy, shake-n-bake with extra spices, or buy already BBQ'ed? Opt for buying. Shame on you Michael!
