Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup semisweet mini chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 pounds chocolate bark candy coating, melted

Directions

In a large bowl cream butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until creamy. Add vanilla. Gradually beat in flour and add milk. Add chocolate morsels and pecans, mixing well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on waxed paper; chill 2 hours.

*Cook's Note: Since the dough is sticky, roll your fingers into flour. This will make it easier to roll.

Melt chocolate bark candy coating in a double boiler. Using 2 forks, dip cookie balls into candy coating to cover. Place on waxed paper and chill to set. Store in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

    Oh so good!

These were so delicious!!! I made the dough ahead of time and kept it in the fridge for a day. It was much easier to roll... and I didn't need to put any flour on my hands. I truly recommend this, especially if you LOVE cookie dough!Read more

    Try coating with WHITE chocolate!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
these were not that easy to make to me and quite time consuming but worth it. I liked them better with white chocolate and no... chips on the inside, great! Read more

    Wonderful!

Although I had trouble melting the chocolate bark enough for it to properly coat the cookie dough balls (although that may... be due to the fact that I bought the cheapest kind at the store....)- I melted it enough to sort-of-drizzle and it ended up tasting wonderful! Plus, the cookie dough tasted awesome without the chocolate coating anyway : )Read more

    SO Stinkin' Good!!!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I am a cookie dough junkie, so I just had to try these! They were so incredibly easy to make. I found that if I dusted my... hands with flour in between rolling each truffle that they didn't stick at all. They taste just like actual cookie dough...maybe even better!Read more

    Guilt-Free (almost) Cookie Dough Eating

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I'm in my mid-40s and I still love eating raw chocolate chip cookie dough! So when I saw this recipe I had to try it. It... does taste very much like cookie dough, without any concern over the raw eggs (hubby does all the worrying for me...) I made a few changes to accommodate what I had on hand. I used very finely chopped almonds instead of pecans and I put some finely chopped dark chocolate miniature Dove chocolate bars in place of the mini chocolate chips - tasted just fine! After personal experience and reading the reviews, I decided to coat just the tops of each truffle with Ghirardelli dipping chocolate so the coating wouldn't overwhelm the filling taste. I also made each truffle pretty small (got 80 rounds out of one batch) since I could easily see how a big truffle would be too rich. I will make this again using walnuts (my personal favorite) as well as actual mini chocolate chips. The result will probably taste even more like cookie dough!Read more
