    Easy and delicious! I prefer to make cookies from scratch but this recipe is a great time saver during the Holiday madness. Served them on Christmas Eve and everybody loved them. Even the teenager who doesn't like coconut. Maybe I forgot to tell him there was coconut in them (-;

    My boyfriend said he could live off of nothing but these bars! While I'm a huge advocate of making everything from scratch, when it gets down to a few days before the holidays and you've been doing nothing but bake, an easy, delicious cookie like this is a blessing! I used Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix and it took about 2 minutes to assemble, you can't ask for an easier recipe! Anyone who likes coconut will be a fan of these, I'm about to make my second batch for last minute gifts!

    Not awful but pretty close. Was a waste of time to use a packaged mix - it tasted like a mix. I served these with a chocolate fondue thinking they would be fantastic but they were not good with or without the chocolate fondue.
