Ingredients

  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced, 2 slices reserved
  • 2 shots vodka
  • 1 shot melon liqueur
  • 1 part simple syrup
  • Dash jalapeno-pepper juice

Directions

In a small bowl crush kiwi using a muddler or a fork. In a cocktail shaker add ice, crushed kiwi, vodka, melon liqueur, a dash of simple syrup and a dash of jalapeno-pepper juice. Stir and strain into martini glass. Garnish with reserved kiwi slices.

    In theory it "sounded" good. I left out the pepper juice, but I don't think that made the difference. I had described the drink to some friends and they thought it sound interesting. I tried it out at a luncheon I had and it was awful. It tasted like straight up vodka with a Nyquil after taste. Never again.

    I was so excited to try this and its discusting! The jalapeno juice was so over powering! Even though it only calls for a dash it still tasted salty and japenowish. She said it was to give it a spicy kick! Dont waste your vodka and kiwi on this!
