Ingredients
- 8 ounces linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, minced
- 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes, or to taste
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and divided
- 2/3 cup white wine
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
Directions
Prepare linguine according to directions on package. In large skillet heat olive oil. Add garlic, onion, and red pepper and saute until soft. Add shrimp and cook until firm, about 5 minutes. Remove shrimp. Add wine to skillet and bring to a simmer. Add parsley. Let simmer gently. Drain pasta and toss with sauce. Serve

I made this last night and it is a keeper. My husband thought i should add more garlic the next time but a few minutes into the meal the garlic hit his pallet. the only thing i might add to this recipe would be a bit more red pepper flakes, just for the heat.

I wasn't a big fan of this recipe. It smelled great, but lacked flavor. I ate the shrimp and tossed the pasta. I'm such a massive Rachel fan, what happened?? Maybe the chicken broth and/or lemon juice as suggested by another rater would have made a difference. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit disappointed in this dish...
