Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- 1/4 cups honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Hardware:
- Dough scraper
- Standing mixer
- Parchment paper or plastic wrap
Directions
Cut the butter into chunks using the dough scraper.
Place butter into the mixer?s work bowl and beat at low speed, using the whisk attachment to loosen the butter. Increase the speed to medium and add the honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract and beat until well combined, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove butter from bowl and spoon onto parchment paper or plastic wrap. Roll into a log and refrigerate for 2 hours.

This is worth making! I did like others and used 1 lb butter, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 cup honey, and the cinnamon and it was awesome! Thanks Alton!! I would have never thought to put the cinnamon in!!

Oh my word! This is to die for! We had eaten at Texas Roadhouse (steak house, and this tastes JUST LIKE theirs! Fabulous!!!
I did add 1/2 cup honey instead of 1/4 cup.....just my preference for sweetness on my bread. (I also saw Paula D has that much honey in her recipe. Yummo. Good job!

This an Excellent Recipe.... If you want a little sweeter you can add Confectioners suger to sweeten it up with out getting the gritty texture regular sugar would give you... I love this on corn bread!!
