Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons hot smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

Put all of the ingredients in a small jar and shake to combine. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.

    this is absolutely the best taco seasoning. I double and triple the recipe to have lots on hand for my son who loves to use it in his eggs, empanadas and whatever strikes his fancy. I also use it on chicken breasts and stir fry. Once you try this you will never go back to packaged seasoning.

    I modified this to our tastes and left out the cornstarch, which wasn't essential to the outcome. Also added a pinch of organic stevia to balance the hot with a hint of sweet. After I made the first recipe, I made up another big batch to keep handy in my pantry! Love this recipe!
