Ingredients

1 cup candy corn

3 tablespoons heavy cream

1 bag microwave popcorn, popped

Nonstick cooking spray

Directions

 1. Melt the candy corn in the heavy cream in a small saucepan, stirring as needed, over medium-low heat. Put the popped popcorn in a large bowl. Pour the melted candy corn mixture over the popcorn and stir to coat.
 2. Spray your hands with nonstick cooking spray and roll the popcorn into baseball-sized balls, pressing the popcorn together firmly so it sticks and stays together. Allow the popcorn balls to chill on a parchment-lined baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes to firm up. Enjoy!

Being naturally lazy, I just tossed everything together in a large bowl using two greased spoon, and instead of making it into balls, I spread it evenly on a parchment covered sheet. After chilling it, I broke it into cluster and bagged it. When doing a second batch, I added the candy corn left in the bag while
tossing the popcorn. Worked great and looked cute.
I make a great deal of caramel corn, and as I don’t like possibility of biting into unpopped kernels, once the corn is popped, I toss it is a large colander so that the unpopped kernels go to the bottom. Then I pour the popcorn into a large bowl that I keep warm in a 200 degree oven until I’m ready to toss it with the caramel so it doesn’t cool as fast. I did that here, too, but the melted candy corn is a little different from caramel, so I probably didn’t have to do that. Kids loved this treat, especially the batch with the whole canids in it.
