Quick, easy, and very yummy! Everything listed was already in the pantry. Why use bottled sauce when you can make this in 5 minutes?

Absolutely loved this recipe. I bought some fresh tortellini for dinner one night and after cooking it, found I had no sauce. I googled "quick tomato sauce recipe" and this popped up. Lucky me! It was super easy, is made with ingredients I had readily available, and my family loved it. This one's getting bookmarked for sure. Thanks!

Loved the texture and the flavor. Used crushed tomatoes instead of chopped, and dried Italian Seasoning instead of oregano. Added 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes to oil and heated for a minute or so before adding the rest of the ingredients. Simmered on low for 10 min. Next time I'll use a little less oil, had to keep stirring it in because it kept rising to the top.
