It was a quick recipe to put together (but for my own personal taste, it lacked flavor, so I added some of my own, as well as using some of the other reviewers tips. I added 2 oz tomato paste, 3 tsp italian seasoning, 5 fresh basil leaves cut up and 2 fresh thyme stems. I heated it up on the stove then removed the thyme stems.

Good base sauce for me - I have cut the olive oil in half and added 3 oz tomato paste. Fresh plum tomatoes out of the garden. Simmer on low for 30 min and then I can it. Think it adds to the flavor and I like a little thicker sauce for my pizza. I can in pint jars, makes 2 12" pizzas

Really easy and tastes great! This is the only tomato sauce my husband actually took note to compliment. I like to add a little bit of red pepper flakes for some kick.
