Just like I remember from my childhood. The powdered sugar makes it very frothy without the egg. We used freshed squeezed juice.

Delicious. Tastes just like the Orange Julius that I remember from growning up.

Not too bad, but tooooo sweet! I lived close to one of the original beach stands, and I can tell you that the secret is very simple (watched 'em do it many times. A whole egg in each one. Nowadays, likely not a good idea unless you know and trust your egg source. As well, a small amount of malt powder. They also used whole navel oranges, not a concentrate. Chances are good with a decent concentrate that you would not know the diff (except in texture.
