I love cheese grits, but I had never really thought of using gouda. I tried this and it was very tasty. I gave it 4 stars because I made the grits the way I usually do, which is with water and I add milk and butter later.

I'll be honest... this was my first time for both making AND eating grits! Where have they been all my life?! They were so delicious. I wanted to eat them right out of the bowl and savor every gritty bite of goodness.
