Directions

Place the chopped chocolate and vanilla in a mixing bowl. In a saucepan heat together milk, cream and star anise until boiling. Pour over chocolate and whisk well to melt. Strain into mugs to remove star anise.

    @pinafresita- Absolutely not sour cream. Heavy cream. It's with the half & half near the milk case.

    With a few missteps (I'm afraid to say in the right direction, I think, this came out tasting incredible! I used 2 ounces of white chocolate instead of four, and after tasting that it was not very sweet, added a few tablespoons of sugar. Tasted Great! I think it would have been to thick with the amount of chocolate specified. Thank you for the wonderful method and recipe!
