Ingredients

  • 6 ounces pepperoni, thinly sliced

Directions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Lay the pepperoni slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Remove the pan from the oven and soak up the excess grease by pressing paper towels against the pepperoni chips. Return the pan to the oven and bake an additional 2 to 4 minutes, until the pepperoni slices are very crispy.

Serve as a snack anytime or use in place of crackers for dipping or for topping with your favorite cheese! They'll stay fresh and crispy for 1 to 2 days if you store them in an airtight container.

    FABULOUS!!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
The low carb life style is wonderful but lacks in "special munchies"...this is the BEST!!! I just read the recipe and had to... try it...I'm soooo glad I did. Microwaving is the way to go...I too used a stack of paper plates and 5 layers of paper towels...after 30 seconds on high, I blotted...after another 15 I blotted again....worked great.Read more

    Big Hit!!

The microwave method of cooking these is absolutely the way to go! I sandwich 20 slices between (alot of) paper towels and... pop them in the microwave for 1:45...and presto! Perfectly crisped every time. I shared these with the girls at work and now we have a constant stash of pepperoni and paper towels! Quick and easy for those afternoon pick me ups.Read more

I <3 these but what i do is not cook them for the whole time...just so the outside is crusty and the inside is soft.

    Great snack

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
These are a great snack even if you're not doing low-carb. I found the recipe called for the chips to cook a little too... long, so after I shortened that they turned out perfect.Read more
