Ingredients

2 cups ice
1/2 cup whiskey
1/2 cup apple liqueur
1 cup cranberry juice
Sliced apples, for garnish, optional

Directions

Add to shaker, ice, Canadian whiskey, apple liqueur and cranberry juice. Pour into 2 rocks glasses, garnish with a slice of apple, if using, and serve.

The real name for this drink is....

it's actually called a "washington apple" and is made with apple pucker and the whiskey is crown royal. a nice variation is... to replace the crown royal with captain morgan spiced rum and then it's called a "spiced apple"......... very good as long as you get the mix right.....Read more

My guests and I like this drink. It's also good as a martini. We had it with a dinner that was all comfort food and it really... worked. (Chicken and dumplings.) It appealed to both camps, those who like sweet, and those who like dry, as it was not too much of either.Read more
