Duh! Read RECIPE FOR CRIPES SAKE! It is a yummy drink that tastes like German Chocolate Cake. It was never supposed to be a cake recipe.

I haven't tried this particular drink, but I LOVE chocolate cake shots. I have one every year for my birthday, even though I don't drink liquor the rest of the year. : I do agree to use vanilla vodka instead of citrus, and bite the lemon after you take the shot. It is delicious. I highly recommend this. :

As a bartender I make this often. It tastes much more like cake if you use vanilla vodka instead of citrus vodka. Also I would suggest that you sip the drink THEN bite the sugared lemon.
