To truly enjoy this concoction it's a good idea to have already experienced and accepted the bitterness of stouts, especially Guinness stout. The flavor profile of this milkshake are, as you would expect, chocolatey and the Guinness natural flavors blend well with the chocolate in the ice cream. The finish, at the back of the throat, is clearly bitter and the bitterness will not appeal to all those who try it. For my own experience, I tried it once. That was enough.

Made this for my hubby & our friend that loves beer. I made it with Guiness Extra Stout by accident & they loved it. I also made it with my husband's fav beer, Young's Double Chocolate Stout. He said it was even better!
