For a party, I made these along with another more traditional version. This one had an interesting taste, and while I enjoyed it, I think most people liked the traditional one better. People with more adventurous palettes will appreciate this spin on a classic. Yummy nonetheless. Like another reader, I used (light! sour cream in a pinch, but later thought creme fraiche would have maybe added a touch of creaminess they needed.

I was looking for a good spicy deviled egg recipe. This isn't it. The eggs were bland except for the over whelming taste of lime juice. I'm deleting this one from my recipe box.

I substituted the creme fraiche for light sour cream too. These eggs are DELICIOUS. My party guests agree. Definitely a fresh take on deviled eggs.
