Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds broccolini
  • Coarse salt
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan
  • 4 to 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Directions

Trim broccolini of ends. Place 4 to 5-inch long, thin stalks into a skillet and cover with water. Cover and bring to a boil. Add salt and reduce heat. I got broccolini in my veggie box this week and had no idea what to do with it. Fortunately my box also had garlic bulbs. So I made this recipe, it was very quick to make and it tasted so much better than regular broccoli or plain kale. Thanks for having this recipe available!

I made it with regular broccoli, because I already had some in my refrigerator, but it was really easy to make. Altho, I added a little butter and lots of salt, and I thought it tasted a lot better than just regular steamed broccoli with butter and salt.
