    Excellent

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This cake is the most easy to make and the most tasteful and moist chocolate cake ever. I added my own touch to it which is... half a pack of chocolate chips and it turned out sooo chocolaty and perfect. I highly recommend this recipe.Read more

I always like to read the comments posted before I try a recipe. Half liked this cake and half didn't. I tried it and... followed the recipe exactly. It came out very good. We thought it had a good taste, was moist, and was easy to make. The only thing that my family did request the NEXT time I make this, is to make a frosting to go along with it (they are frosting people anyway). I also thought about putting an instant pudding mix in it too. If you have tried that, please let me know. Andrea B - Goodyear, AZRead more

    Perfect and Easy!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This recipe turned out perfect. Didn't have any problems with baking time like others had and it did taste like chocolate. ... I baked it in two layers, in round pans. Then I added a mixed berry filling and chocolate shipped frosting. It was light, fluffy, and moist.Read more

    Best Cake

This is the best chocolate cake ever. Easy and quick, we make it for all special occasions. Our grandkids favorite. I make... a simple powdered sugar frosting and it disappears!! Thanks Robin!Read more

Easy to make and not too sweet.

Rated: 3 stars out of 5
I couldn't decide if I should make this cake according to some of the reviews but since I had all the ingredients at home and... it seem fairly easy to make, I decided to try it. The cake took 45 minutes to bake so for those of you who took longer to bake please check your oven temperatures. Second, the cake came out very moist and it had a deep dark cocolate color. I couldn't wait to let it cool so I could taste it. Although this recipe was not what I was hoping for, it is not a bad cake. My mom liked it because she doesn't like cakes that are too sweet but I do. I was looking for decadent chocolate cake recipe. I will keep looking for that recipe that is similar to the box type but for those of you who want a simple chocolate cake recipe that is not too chocolatey or sweet, this might be for you! Read more

    Easy and Delicious!

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
This cake was so easy to make and very moist. It was not too sweet, which was great. I used light brown sugar. Next time I... will add some fresh rasberries into it. It was really a hit here and quite delicious. The only thing I found was that it took more time to cook than 25 minutes. I kept putting the timer on for 15 minute intervals and did that twice so I would say it took around 55 minutes to fully cook. I definitely will make it again! Thanks!Read more
