They're challenged to sell the most of their signature dishes to passers-by on the Santa Monica Pier, and Geoffrey puts the finishing touches on a batch of the team's famous burgers before heading out.

The guys don't win the $200 advantage, but they do gain a few new fans of their truck. Tyler adds $66 to their earnings and sends them off to their first official selling location, Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

For the teams' first Truck Stop challenge in Lake Havasu City, Tyler has them sell fish and chips specials to honor the original London Bridge. The first team to sell 20 orders wins $500.

Although they didn't win the extra dough, the boys park nearby a church on Day Two and make plenty of additional sales, finishing the weekend in third place.

The teams head to their next stop, Flagstaff, Ariz. where Tyler hands them each $200 in seed money for a selling sprint challenge. Tyler soon informs the teams over the phone that they must head to Sedona for a new challenge.

In Santa Fe, N.M., Tyler asks the teams to create a dish using New Mexican chiles. The GD guys don't win the challenge, so with $150 worth of seed money in hand, they prepare for two days of selling.

The guys have trouble finding a spot to park, and later Mark gets lost on his way to the Plaza. Facing their first Speed Bump to sell out their menu without restocking, the boys end up in the bottom two, barely surviving.

In Amarillo, Texas, Tyler challenges all of the teams to a steak-eating contest, and GD Bro earns $250 in seed money. This week the teams must feature a steak special; there's a $500 prize for the team that sells the most.

What the teams don't know is that there's also a taste challenge secretly going on in the background, for an additional $500. The GD guys don't win the taste challenge, but they do win $500 for selling the most steak specials, and they come in first place for the first time.

Moving on to Tulsa, Okla., Tyler surprises the teams with an old-fashioned marketing challenge. Without the use of social media, the teams must create a roadside attraction. Unfortunately the GD guys' Cali beach bash theme doesn't draw the customers they'd anticipated.

The next day Tyler sends the teams to the Admiral Twin Drive-In, where the teams must compete head-to-head, selling to the local driving club. The boys try to rally up customers ahead of opening time.

Armed with $25 chips, customers start lining up behind the trucks, but the guys don't get as much business as the other two teams. After the challenge they head to Guthrie Green, but even reducing their prices doesn't bring in customers. "It really slowed down for us," Kevin reveals.

With a margin of $43, the guys of GD Bro Truck finish in the bottom, and Tyler reveals they won't be moving on to the finale and the next location of St. Louis. "You guys brought it," Tyler tells them.
