Ingredients
- 4 pounds ground beef
- 1 large green pepper, diced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 cup cracker crumbs
- Ketchup, as needed
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except ketchup. Knead mixture and place into a loaf pan. In a large shallow pan, add 1-inch of water, place the meatloaf pan in the center and cover with foil. Bake for approximately 1 hour.
Drain water, remove foil, cover meatloaf with ketchup and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes.

I made this Meatloaf just like the recipe, the Chili powder really takes it to another level of flavor. Make this recipe and don't let your Meat Loaf !

I think this recipe needs to go back to the kitchen for a re-do.
Sounds like a good recipe, but I generally use 2 lbs of ground meat, and it fills a loaf pan pretty much to the top. There's No Way that 4lbs of ground beef & this recipe would fit in a loaf pan. Try as the other reviewer did and maybe use 1/2 the meat? I'll wait. Too many other good recipes to try instead.
