Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (recommended: Kahlua)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 3 cups mixed berries or chopped seasonal fruit
  • Vanilla cookies (recommended: Marias) for garnish, optional

Directions

Mix the coffee liqueur and condensed milk in a small bowl. Set aside.

Put 2 to 3 scoops of ice cream in each parfait glass. Scatter the berries or fruit evenly over the ice cream and drizzle with the coffee liqueur mixture. Garnish with a vanilla cookie, if desired, and serve immediately.

    This is some strong sauce! It was good over vanilla ice cream - didn't try it on the fruit, husband did not think fruit went with it. Also good with various cookies dipped in it, but not as good as I was imagining it would be.

    Very easy to put together and soooooooooooooo delicious, that coffee liqueur was fantastic on the ice cream and fruit, you have to have those cookies with this, first mouthful and you go...Mmmmmmm!! Very refreshing too!!!!
