Directions

Mix the pears, cheese, pecans and romaine in a medium-sized salad bowl.

For the dressing; stir together the vinegar, garlic, basil, honey, salt, and pepper and then add oil slowly in a small bowl with wire whisk. Toss the dressing with the salad just before serving.

    I gave it a 4 because I change it and can't actually say that I love it as is. Instead of blue cheese, I use goat cheese. But the dressing is great!

    WOW! This is a KEEPER! I didn't even have fresh basil so I shook in some dried in the dressing. I also used 3 LARGE garlic cloves. I was worried it would be overpowering, but once everything was mixed together....Oh My Gosh, was it GOOD!!! I didn't use the salt and only ground fresh pepper on top just because I am lazy. : My husband said to let you know he ate the last of the bowl for desert!
