Directions
Beat 1 egg, 3/4 cup milk and a pinch of cayenne. Place 1/4 cup cornstarch in a shallow dish. In another dish, mix 1/2 cup each cornstarch and cornmeal with 2 tablespoons chopped dill, 2 teaspoons paprika, and salt and pepper. Dip about 3 dozen cold pickle slices in the plain cornstarch, then the egg wash, then the cornmeal mixture. Fry in 2 inches of 375 degrees F canola oil until golden, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve with ranch dressing.

I have never made fried pickles before and I tried this recipe....not only was it EASY to prepare, but it was a huge hit wit the fam!!! I made my own spicy ranch to go with and they were gone in an instant!!! I highly recommend this recipe and I took some advice from previous reviews and sprinkled cajun seasoning on them once they came out of the fryer!! DELICIOUS!!

These fried pickles were better than french fries! They weren't greasy and were flavorful and crunchy! Fantastic!

I tried this recipe the sauce was great. but the batter for the pickles was way to much salt. I used slap yo mama for the Cajun seasoning. I even left out the Italian seasoning thought that might be making them to salty. Made 3 batches all to much salt.
