Ingredients

Equipment:

  • 1 rubber glove (powder-free)
  • 1 (3-gallon) plastic soda bottle with the bottom cut off and a small hole drilled in the cap
  • 1 rubber band
  • 1 (1/4-inch) dowel, about 16 inches long

Directions

Pour the sugar and water into a saucepan and put it over medium heat. Add the herb of choice and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool. When cool, remove the herb and refrigerate.

First fill the rubber glove with water to make sure there are no leaks. Empty the water out and place the glove into the soda bottle with the wrist draped over the small opening. Secure it with the rubber band. Fill the glove with the cooled herb-sugar liquid. Screw on the cap and carefully insert the dowel getting it almost all the way down the middle finger. Place the whole thing in the freezer and freeze overnight.

When ready to serve, remove from the freezer and push the hand out of the bottle. Peel off the glove and eat.

Note: Lazy people can freeze the herb-sugar liquid in regular ice pop molds.
