I absolutely LOOOVED this drink. As soon as I saw the episode I was checking my supplies to make sure I had everything. I was so excited that I did have all the ingredients! The only thing I find as a draw back is that it was a little bit too sweet. I might cut back on the sugar.

Note: The recipe was previously titled inaccurately as Ginger, Honey, and Apple Martinis. There is no honey in the recipe and the correct title is Ginger and Apple Martinis.

First of all, this isn't a martini. It's more like a sling (a mixture of alcohol, fruit juice, sugar and soda. Giada can call it a martini if she wants, but the term isn't a catch-all and you'd think the producers would have some basic mixology information to consult for accuracy.
The recipe as it stands is pretty sweet. I would definitely lessen the amount of syrup and maybe even the juice. And no, there doesn't seem to be any honey in this recipe, which is probably a good thing, considering!
