This was a big hit tonight. I altered the recipe to about half the butter and oil and added a couple of ingredients (Old Bay and lemon juice. While grilling, I basted the shrimp with the leftover marinade and they came out perfect. I paired the shrimp with white and wild rice and steamed broccoli. Compliments included: "Better than Red Lobster" and "Awesome Shrimp", as well as loving the rice and broccoli. Would definitely make this again.

I'm a little surprised by all of the 5 ratings. This recipe is ok but nothing special. I had the same problem as another poster in that my sauce turned to paste in the food processor. A quick zap in the microwave fixed that. Bottom line, it's easy to make but taste-wise, just ok. I won't bother with making it again.
