I tried this drink for one of my parties. Two ladies said it was like the way their mom made it.

So I've always LOVED Horchata, but never knew how to make it. This recipe was soooo easy and so wonderfully yummy! One thing I'd like to add for those who also might be 1st timers at making Horchata, when you add the 1 cup of rice it is raw, not cooked. I was totally confused on that and I actually had to google other recipes which called for raw rice. So once its all blended up it is fabulous and really is an awesome drink! Also, I didnt have a cinnamon stick so I just added ground cinnamon in the water and rice while it was soaking...still it was PERFECT!
