This was really tasty! In the end, I only used 4 1/4 cups water instead of 5 and I added the whole can of condensed milk. I wish I would have had some cheesecloth to strain the mixture b/c it was a tad grainy, even after all of that blending.

This was so tasty! I have always wanted to try horchata and this was a great first run. I held off on 1 cup of water to taste first and thought it was just perfect and not too concentrated after only 5 cups of water total. I guess that leaves room for dilution from ice too. I put in 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon vs a half o stick. It is like liquid rice pudding and I am a big fan of rice pudding! Yum!

I tried this drink for one of my parties. Two ladies said it was like the way their mom made it.
