In a small sauce pot add water and cinnamon and bring to boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, and strain out cinnamon sticks. Bring water back to a boil, add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Fantastic!
I didn't have the sticks, so after the water started to boil I added two teaspoons of ground. Then added the sugar. So delicious in coffee. From start to finish it only took five minutes.

Awesome and EASY recipe! I added a little Almond Extract to coincide with my cake's icing and hot diggety dog it was dynamite!!!!!
