  • 8 to10 slices Apple wood centre cut smoked bacon

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Lay the bacon a sheet pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the bacon is really crispy. Dry on paper towels and serve.

    This is how I have always cooked bacon for my family. Never considered it as a 'recipe' - to me, it is more of a method. Heck, it is how my Grandma taught me to cook bacon!

    This is the easiest and most mess-free way to cook bacon ever... Definitely line your baking sheets with aluminum foil.

    Great idea...BUT if you use heavy-duty foil that has been crinkled (carefully crush and gently unfold to avoid tearing in the bottom of the pan and up the sides, the grease pools in the crevices making the bacon crispier and less fatty.
