You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1 small seedless watermelon, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
  • 1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
  • Chili powder or chili powder with lime, for sprinkling
  • Lime wedges, for serving
  • Special equipment: wooden ice pop sticks or skewers, cookie cutters in assorted shapes and sizes

Directions

Using cookie cutters or a paring knife, cut the watermelon and pineapple slices into desired shapes.

Insert wooden sticks into the pieces of fruit.

To serve: Sprinkle the ends of the fruit with chili powder. Put the pops on a plate, with the wooden sticks facing up for handles or stick the pops into a halved watermelon. Serve with lime wedges.

    great idea!! I made it for my nieces bday party, they were a hit...free handed horses and cowboy hat.

    I made these for the Fourth of July. I used a bell,and different sizes of star cookie cutters. I'm not sure who liked them more the adults or the kids. It was a hit! Thank you!!
