So far, this is my go-to meatball recipe for cocktail style meatballs. These are at least "among the best" of the meatballs I've ever eaten. The key is the sauce, which is not particularly spicy, but more sweet and tangy; the lemon gives it a nice citrusy note.

I didn't think this recipe was spicy at all. I read the previous reviews on the sauce before I made it and everyone said it was good, but very spicy. I even added 2 tbl. of sweet chili sauce to the BBQ to give it extra kick. After it was finished, the only spice I tasted from the sauce was from the added ingredient I put in. Very good sauce and awesome meatballs. I also added granulated garlic to the meatballs. Yum-O!

I only made the sauce for a party but wow was it good! I added a little bit of my own BBQ sauce gave it an extra sweet smoky flavor. I also used frozen meatballs quick and easy!
