Ingredients

  • 5 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons crushed garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Combine the tater tots and the olive oil in a bowl. Toss to coat, spread on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and crisp, about 30 minutes.

Remove the tater tots from the oven, season with salt and pepper and transfer to a mixing bowl. To the taters, add the garlic, parsley and cheese. Toss to combine and serve immediately.

    Something is Missing

Rated: 3 stars out of 5
I made the recipe for breakfast this morning and was very disappointed. They were bland and missing something. I will... play around with the recipe because I love tater tots.Read more

    Awesome!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I don't really cook much and I made a huge bowl of these for a pot-luck super bowl party. I basically doubled the recipe.... No one knew I made them and everyone was commenting how good they were. We had wings, ribs, and more but all they could talk about were the taters. It was the first dish to empty at the table. I'll definitely be making these again. Fun, easy and taste really awesome!Read more

    Huge Superbowl Hit

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
These were awesome. I made 5 pounds of these for a SuperBowl party last year and they all went (only 6 guests), people were... scraping the bowl. This is not rocket science, it is a great twist on a comfort food from our youth. So easy and crowd pleasing. Guy is MONEY!Read more

    fun

This was kind of fun. The people who spend their time commenting on recipies they haven't even tried so they can make... themselves feel intelligent are so, so sad to me. What exactly do they do, make beef wellington for their four year olds every night? I'll admit it's not gourmet, but it was fun. And cooking is supposed to be funRead more

Great change up to an old stand-by

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I added herbs and a blend of sharp chedder and Parm. cheeses to Guy's recipe and it turned out great. I baked them until they... were crispy before I folded in the cheese and they did not fall apart, just have to use a gentle hand when blending them. This is a nice alternative to french fries....Thanks Guy!! I don't understand the hostility in some of the feed back for this recipe, sounds like some one got up on the wrong side of the bed:-)Read more

    awesome

This is the first time I have reviewed a recipe. Some folks have given this recipe a bad review.........I loved it and I am... not a tater tot fan. I used some garlic powder on the tots before they went in the oven..........i cooked them a little longer and they were crispy. My family loved them and I will certainly make them again. These are money Guy.Read more
