Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons (3 splashes) rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup dark tamari soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 scallion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil, a drizzle
- Spring rolls, storebought and heated according to package instructions
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and transfer to a serving dish. Combine and serve with prepared frozen spring rolls

Good base recipe. I added 1/2 tsp of minced garlic, 1/2 tsp of chili oil, and 1/4 tsp of togarashi (crushed chili peppers. Let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes before you plan on using it. Much better and a nice little kick at the end.

I made spring rolls for dinner tonight and the dipping sauce that came with the recipe was terrible. Out of desperation, I tried this one and had everything on hand. By itself it was pretty salty, but really good with the spring rolls. I had to add more sugar - probably another tsp. I will probably tweak this a bit, but it sure saved dinner.
