Ingredients

2 pints strawberries, halved or quartered
1 cup heavy cream
1 rounded tablespoon sugar
1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

Directions

Pile strawberries into 4 to 6 small dessert cups or glass dishes. Beat cream and sugar into soft peaks. Pile cream on top of berries and sprinkle chopped macadamia nuts on top.

I love Strawberries and this was such a nice way to use them all!!!. Sometimes they spoil quickly.. I made the whipped cream... ( Easy!!!) , and my strawberries were plump, red and sweet. Simple and Wonderful

Sometimes a really simple recipe sounds deceptivly bland. Three ingredients and a little sugar? But not only did this... recipe actually take ten minutes or less to prepare, it was absolutely terrific. The light richness of whipped cream and the bright flavor of the strawberries was terrific. The macadamia nuts added a little crunch and some unique taste. If you don't like macadamias, you could always substitute another nut. There's always a place for decadent chocolate desserts, but this is a wonderfully simple, summery alternative.Read more
