You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon oil, for frying
  • 10 chicken wings, mix of drumettes and 'flats' or mid-joint wing
  • 3 ounces hot cayenne pepper sauce, such as Frank's RedHot
  • 1 ounce salted butter

Garnish:

  • 2 ounces blue cheese dressing
  • 4 carrot sticks
  • 4 celery sticks

Directions

Preheat the oil to 350 degrees F in a deep fryer. Carefully place the chicken in the oil. Cook the chicken, 7 to 8 minutes. Carefully remove the chicken from the oil and let them rest, about 2 minutes. Carefully place the chicken back into the oil, about 2 minutes. Carefully remove the chicken from the oil and let them rest, about 1 minute. Combine the chicken with the hot sauce and butter, until the butter is melted and the chicken is evenly coated. Serve the chicken with the dressing, carrot and celery sticks.
