Groovy-licious!!! Very easy to make & it's soooooo good!!! It not only goes with the apple pie (as suggested but it goes very well with brownies, pound cake & vanilla ice cream. Drizzle it on a plain biscotti too!!

Although easy to make it really didn't taste like caramel. It was more like a brown sugar sauce. The sugar just doesn't really completely dissolve because of the lack of liquid so it is a bit granular. Has a nice brown sugar flavor though. I too had to add more half & half. Great sauce in a pinch but for me it just doesn't have a caramel taste. I'd use it in another capacity. Family thought it was just okay.
