Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons sweet relish
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika, for dusting

Directions

Place eggs in a large wide saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil for 12 minutes. Remove eggs and and cool in refrigerator. Remove shells from eggs and slice in half lengthwise. Separate egg yolks and place into a bowl. Place whites on a separate plate. Add mayo, mustard, relish and salt and pepper, to taste, to yolks and mash together with a fork until creamy and smooth. Using a large star tip and resealable plastic bag, pipe the yolk mixture back into each egg, enough to fill yolk holes completely. Dust tops with paprika. Refrigerate. Serve cold.

I am only 13 and cannot boil stuff and turn on the oven or the firetop without my parental supervision. But I had my mom's... supervision today and made the eggs! It was a delight! I also had an extravegent idea! If I ask my mom to boil the eggs a few mins or hours before I come home then I can just take the cooled eggs out and prep them and eat it! Great Idea Sandra!Read more

    Great!

I made this recipe for a New Year's party yesterday. My friends ate it right up and I received plenty of compliments. I did... make one change to the recipe, however. I added the mustard to taste. Using a little less mustard than Sandra Lee instructs us to use. (I'm not a big mustard fan and I figure you can't take it out after it is added.) Anyway, the recipe turned out great and I'll definately make this recipe again. Read more

Thank goodness I decided not to go by the reviews and made this recipe. My family and I loved them. Even my picky 4 year old... ate them and asked me to make more. I will never rely on opinons again because they will steer you wrong or maybe the people with the bad reviews do not know or realize the error on their part and cant cook! Very good and simple recipeRead more

    good basic recipe

These eggs turned out great! My 5 year old loved them. I know many on here realize that some people are not very savvy... reviewers, but the girl who gave these eggs one star for not having "potted meat" in them has to take the cake. HAHAHA...if you already know the "proper" way to make deviled eggs, why are you on here looking at recipes? Read more
