Ingredients

  • 4 pounds baby back ribs, cut in 1/2
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chili garlic sauce
  • 1 cup Catalina dressing
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

Preheat broiler. Line bottom portion of broiler pan with foil for easy clean up. Spray top rack lightly with cooking spray.

Season ribs with garlic salt and pepper. Broil for 5 to 6 minutes, turn and broil for an additional 5 to 6 minutes. Place browned ribs in slow cooker.

In a mixing bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. Pour sauce mixture over ribs. Move ribs around to make sure they are all coated. Cover and cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours or Low for 8 hours.

With tongs, remove ribs from slow cooker and let cool slightly before cutting into individual rib pieces. Skim grease from sauce. Serve ribs with sauce on the side.

This Is Not Only THE BEST Rib Recipe But Also The Best Slow Cooker Recipe Ever!!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
These are, by far, the best ribs I have ever made and they are so easy to prepare! My husband does not usually like anything... cooked in the slow cooker because he feels flavor gets cooked out, this is not only his favorite rib recipe but about the only thing he likes cooked in the slow cooker! The recipe summary lists these as appetizers, I cook these for dinner and feed a family of four as the main course. The flavor is exceptional and I have passed this recipe on to several family and friends! Read more

I have made them numerous times since my whole family loves these ribs. I usually put them on the grill for a few minutes... after I take them out of the crock pot just to give them that perfect finish.Read more

    Darn good Ribs!!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
Love this recipe, the only thing I did differently instead of broiling the ribs, I threw them over the charcoal BBQ for 10... minutes before slow cooking for 6-8 hours. I also added a little more ginger to the sauce. Fantastic Recipe!!Read more

    Best Ribs EVER!!!!!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I enjoy watching Sandra Lee and getting great ideas for dinner. This recipe was a huge hit. My husband was the one who... caught this episode and decided to make them for dinner. I am NOT a fan of pork at all and when I smelled the ribs after they had been cooking ALL DAY; you can bet that I was wanting a taste. So I tried them and "Oh my gosh!!" (I am a fan now.) "YUM!" Our 2 yr old even likes them. I don't adjust the recipe at all. I enjoy it just the way it is. My motto "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." We make them when we have company and everyone always comments on how awesome they taste. Of course Sandra Lee gets the credit everytime but I don't mind. We did try this recipe with 4 hrs cooking time and then 8-10 hrs cooking time. I highly recommend the 8-10 hrs cooking. Its way better when the meat is falling off the bone. Read more
