Apparently Angelina Jolie made this for Maddox birthday. It just goes to show you that you can switch up the theme and get it... to be for any occasion. Read more

    What is the point???

Seriously, if you are going to spend this much money on a birthday cake, why not pay a bakery or private baker to do the work... for you and actually make something that is cohesive?? And it's assuming an awful lot to think anyone can walk into a bakery and get yellow and white iced cupcakes, an unfrosted sheet and round cake, AND daffodil cookies!!! And tubs of fake frosting?? GROSS!!! Even the "Cake Doctor" says to take the effort and make a simple buttercream to frost that boxed cake. How hard is it to dump some butter and powdered sugar, a little vanilla, in a bowl and beat it for a couple of minutes, if you are actually going to bother FROSTING the cake anyway?? I can't believe she actually has her own show.Read more

    I Can't Believe This Show

I don't have cable TV at home, so I'm not familiar with this show, but I'm on vacation and saw this in my hotel room. What a... mess of a cake. Who would ever put a round cake on a rectangular cake, plop some more stuff on it, and think this is a good way to go in an upscale restaurant? And 8 servings? Is this woman insane? Just the cupcakes alone would be 8 servings. Then to add a half sheet cake, an entire round cake, and 12 cookies . . . just who is this woman feeding?Read more

    Easy and fun for kids.

I have read other comments saying that this recipe is too expensive and too big. Honestly, you can see that it will serve... many people. I baked the cake myself and just purchased cupcakes and instead of cookies used small baking candies. My eight year old decorated the cake and it was great.Read more

If one of the contestants on "The Next Food Network Star" tried to come out with this recipe, the judging panel would kick... them out of the contest so fast their head would spin! I honestly am embarrassed for Food Network and Sandra Lee that they aired this. Read more
