Ingredients

  • 16 littleneck clams
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley, plus more for garnish
  • Several dashes hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red pepper
  • 1/2 cup crushed crackers (recommended: Ritz)
  • 4 strips bacon, parcooked
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Shuck and drain clams and set aside. In a saute pan, combine melted butter, lemon

juice, parsley, and hot pepper sauce over medium heat. Add onions and green and red peppers and saute until tender. Then add crushed crackers and mix until thoroughly combined. Spoon a small amount of mixture on top of littlenecks and then top with a piece of bacon. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until bacon is crispy. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.

    This was the best and easiest recipe for Clams Casino. The filling was perfect, just the right amount of filling and the Ritz gave it a nice buttery taste. I don't know who Flo is but she really knows her way around a clam!!!!

    This was really easy and really tasty. I put fresh brocolli ( so I can't spell. lolwith lemon butter and a rice dish with it. There's a reason the classic combos are considered classic.

    These were so good that I actually googled Flo's recipe for their clams casino. Low and behold... it was here! A girl that worked there told me the recipe but it was a long time ago so I needed to refresh my memoy. The recipe is just as she informed. These are excellent! Mind you I've LOVED clams casino for what seems like forever. Awesome recipe!!!
    Thanx to Flo's! Love your place. Lot's of character.
