You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 2 teaspoons black truffle salt or oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 bag microwave popcorn, popped as directed

Directions

In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and chives. Saute until the butter is fragrant, about 30 seconds. Remove from the heat and add the truffle oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the popcorn into a large bowl and pour over the truffled butter and sprinkle in the Parmesan. Toss well to combine and serve immediately.

    A very easy way to jazz up a bag of pop corn! Use fresh snipped chives for best results (I did and fresh grated parmigiano. The recipe calls for one bag of popcorn, but I think the sauce could cover more than that, maybe one and a half. Truffle oil is expensive, but I don't think it would have tasted as good without it. I happened to have some on hand that I used for something else. I used Orvin Redenbacker plain, so no flavors would mix.
