Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup light honey (alfalfa or any wildflower honey will do nicely)
  • 1 cup sour cream

Directions

Place honey in a heavy stainless steel bowl and place over low heat for just a few seconds to "loosen" it up a bit. Remove from the heat and whisk in the sour cream. Serve over anything, from pound cake to fruit. It's darned near universal.

Note: These amounts can be adjusted to your personal taste.

Plain yogurt instead of sour cream works well also

Best dressing over fruit - doesn't ruin the health benefit like some. Maybe good over the orange cake that's part of this... episode. Hmmm ... got to try that. Read more

No brainer to make, stores great in the fridge and tastes great. I made this to eat w/sliced apples for lunch. I'll be... making it often. I added poppyseeds.Read more

Wonderfully useful for anything from ice cream to pound cake to biscuits. If you ever serve tea, this should be part of... your spread. I love to use it to top fruit and oats for a quick breakfast.Read more
