Ingredients

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Line a baking pan with parchment paper and lay the bacon out side by side, overlapping just a bit, if necessary, to fit the whole package on the pan. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and place the pan on the top rack of the oven. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until the bacon is nicely browned and slightly crispy.* Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

*Ovens tend to cook unevenly so some of the bacon strips will be darker than others. Don't worry; this will satisfy those who like well done bacon.

This is total bacon candy goodness! My fiancee is diabetic and I actually make this with Splenda Brown Sugar and it is still awesome!

the flavors are so good together. An easier way to bake it is to lay them out on a rack on a aluminum foil lined backing sheet for easy cleanup and they bake quicker. I bump the temp to 400 and it takes about 20 minutes. My boyfriend can;t get enough of these bacon strips whenever we make them.

I love this simple recipe for two reasons... the sweetness and saltiness is fabulous, but even better, the clean up was a breeze... no more splattered stovetops (or microwaves and that bacon smell no longer lingers in the house all day. Like other reviewers, the bake time is a little long so watch closely after 15-20 mins.
