Ingredients

  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1 (12-ounce) bag frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons superfine sugar
  • 2 medium limes, juiced
  • Fresh strawberries, optional, for garnish

Directions

In a blender, combine pineapple, frozen strawberries, sugar, and lime juice and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses, garnish with fresh strawberries, if desired, and serve immediately.

    I make Margarita Mocktails. It consists of salt on the rim of a glass, ice cubes and Margarita Mix (not the kind with liquor in it. The mocktail tastes surprisingly like a full blown Margarita.

    I used frozen mixed berries, crushed pineapple, and splenda. May want to strain mixture to get rid of seeds. Can also add shot of white or coconut rum, even though it defeats the point of a virgin daiquiri.
