I THOUGHT HURRICANE SEASON WAS OVER!!!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
AS A BARTENDER OF 7 YEARS AND A GIRL FROM THE SOUTH I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SKEPTICAL ABOUT TRYING HURRICANE RECIPES FEARING IT... WOULD BE ALL JUICE AND WAY TOO SWEET. THIS ONE SEEMS TO HOLD TRUE TO THE ORIGINAL RECIPE SO I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A WHIRL FOR A FAMILY FUNCTION. EVERYONE LOVED THEM AND HAD A BLAST. IT'S BEEN ALL THE RAVE AT GET TOGETHERS AFTER THAT SO GUESS I FOUND A KEEPER. Read more

    Tasty, but strong!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This is a fantastic recipe! I made it for a large group gathering and everyone loved it...though I served them in cups that... were a bit too large...and well, some folks couldn't move their legs for a while! It really does taste like fruit punch so you don't taste the alcohol...the effects of which are guaranteed to sneak up on you.Read more

    Blow You Away!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
This recipe is a snap to prepare and very tasty. It can easily be made in a non-alcoholic version. I use Hawaii's Own... Passion Fruit Orange frozen concentrate, and both grenadine (or pomegranate syrup) and lime juice. I've used Cruzan dark rum, and a mix of Myer's Dark and Captain Morgan Passion Fruit rum, and highly recommend the latter. The drink is strong, but tasty!Read more

    Yum

We used Passion Fruit flavored Rum instead of any syrup, added lime juice and a little maraschino cherry juice to the basic... recipe. Went down e-a-s-y, just like those in the French Quarter.Read more

    Easy to drink

These are so good! My husband and I do not drink that much because we dislike the taste of alcohol. I made these on... Superbowl Sunday and everybody loved them. It tastes like Hawaiian Punch!Read more

This should have a warning label

This is a must try for rum lovers. Be very careful though. Once you have the first two drinks you forget about the rum it... has and they go down like fruit punch. I wouldn't change a thing about it. A great drink for back yard get togethers too.Read more
