You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick-cooking (not instant) rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup sweetened, shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons good honey
  • 8 to 10 strawberries, small-diced
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 pineapple, small-diced
  • 2 cups plain yogurt

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Toss the oats, coconut, almonds, oil, and honey together in a large bowl until they are completely combined. Pour onto a sheet pan and bake, stirring occasionally with a spatula, until the mixture turns a nice, even golden brown, about 20 minutes.

Remove the granola from the oven and allow to cool, stirring once.

Combine the strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple in a bowl. In 4 ice cream sundae glasses, layer first the fruit, then the yogurt, and the cooled granola alternately until you fill the glasses. Serve with a long spoon.

This is out of this world delicious. I was never a fan of yogurt until recently, and now I am a yogurt fanatic. The oatmeal/almond/coconut crunch on this mixed with the smooth creamy yogurt and the fresh fruit is just so refreshing, crunchy, creamy and filling all in one bowl. I made the "granola" and am now eating yogurt daily, which I am happy about. Word of warning about the recipe, the bake time for the "granola" must be watched carefully. At first it looked like nothing was happening, but then I almost burnt it. So be sure to set your timer for every 5 minutes or so and stir frequently so as not to burn. This one's a keeper. Thanks so much, Ina!

Easiest granola ever!!! i used agave nectar instead of honey, just because it's healthier, it turned out great, half of it it's gone, before it even got a chance to be added to the yogurt and fruits!!! will be making this again for sure! Thanks Ina

i found 20 minutes was too long in my oven as my first attempt got a little burnt. My second try I only put in for 10 minuets and it came out great. This granola is very delicious, perfect for those with nut allergies who love granola (just leave out the almonds, and even works with just milk as a healthy cereal.
