Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pounds cashew nuts
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 2 teaspoons dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Place the nuts on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until they are warmed through. Meanwhile, combine the rosemary, pepper, sugar, salt and butter in a large bowl. Toss the warm nuts with the rosemary mixture until the nuts are completely coated. Serve warm.

    I was not too happy with the outcome of this recipe! I was disappointed because I was actually looking forward to making this... one. I followed the recipe exactly, except that I added a little less salt and cayanne (family doesn't like spicy food) than what it called for. They still felt a little TOO salty and I thought they didn't really have any flavor. I don't think any of my guests really enjoyed them either because they didn't eat them at all! I won't be making this recipe again.Read more

    These are somewhat addictive. I agree with below, when I make them again, I'll coat with the butter first, then add the... other ingredients. They turned out great but had to mix them a lot to distribute the coating if you follow the recipe. I took these to work and they were gone lickety split!Read more
