A nice change from my usual dips

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
I love this dip and have made it several times. It's a nice change from the usual onion or dill dips. I don't understand... the negative reviews. Sure, the recipe is simple, but it was on an episode about quick and easy comfort foods. I use lots of black pepper to offset the sourness of the lemon and Worcestershire. On the show she served this with potato chips sprinkled with cilantro. When I tried this, the cilantro slid right off the chips when I picked them up. It works best to just mix chopped cilantro into the dip. It adds a nice flavor and some much-needed color.Read more

i really like Simple Delicioso but this recipe has no business being on the Food Network. You'd be better off dipping your... chips on mayo alone. Skip this one..Read more

    good last minute party dip

I think this was pretty good. You can get a little creative and spice it up some more. It seems like Stacy have a bad review... for all of Ingrids shows. If you don't like her why continue watching the show? Just a though!Read more

This recipe is not worth a TV show. Send the chica back to Colombia to learn how to cook. Gross !

    Just wondering...

Rated: 2 stars out of 5
I had some plain potatoe chips and remembered seeing this made on Saturday so I tried it out tonight. It was ok - no big... deal. Honestly, I think I made this recipe up while I was a Freshman in college on my own though. I'm just wondering how this recipe can qualify for a Food Network Show. I've been watching the network for years and have learned how to cook by watching it. The recipe's here don't remotely come close to say, Nigela Lawson's - She also claims to be a fun-loving cook and not a chef. Different league all together from our local host here. Shockingly, I live in Miami but don't eat Latino food but once a year. I KNOW there has to be more impressive LatinO receipes than we've seen here. We need more substance in these episodes or please move her show to the late afternoons instead of primetime Saturday AM while I'm having my coffee and learning.Read more
